Frequently Asked Questions

But what exactly do we offer as a hunting guide service?
At Foldin’ Fowl, we don’t just guide you to the hunt, we curate the entire experience. From identifying the best and legal hunting locations, securing necessary permissions, to providing transportation and outfitting with high-quality equipment - we ensure every detail is meticulously taken care of. Our expertise and dedication ensure you have a seamless and enjoyable trip outdoors.

What kind of clothing should I wear?

Dress for unpredictable weather - it could be hot, cold, windy, or rainy. Waders aren’t required, but waterproof hunting boots are highly recommended.

Can I bring my own hunting dog?

We discourage bringing your own dog, primarily due to the risk posed by Sandhill Cranes. Our dogs are highly experienced and we trust them to provide the best hunting experience for you. If you still wish to bring your dog, it is up to you and your party to decide.

Where can I find hunting regulations?

Visit the Texas Parks and Wildlife Website for the latest hunting regulations. We also recommend downloading the My Texas Hunt Harvest app for reporting your hunt harvests and on-site registration.

Is lodging available?

We do not have lodging for the upcoming season. However, we have discounted rates at local hotels or can help you find an affordable Airbnb.
